Charles R. Webis, or Chuck, was born in 1969. To some, he has just been taking up space his entire life. To others, he is a hometown hero (more on that later). He was mis-diagnosed as a genius the summer before going into the 5th grade. He was 'let go' from his Jr. High School basketball team for reasons unknown. In his senior year, he was hit in the face with a volleyball. Despite many setbacks, Chuck chooses to live each day as though it is his first.

Now, please enjoy some almost custom-made content. Chuck calls it theater of the mind.

Merry Christmas!

This audio project was originally written and recorded in 2017 for the amusement of the Gut Check Press Podcast. I didn't have a proper studio at the time and somehow failed to get the audio file saved to a . After marinating on a C: drive for six years, it hasn't gotten any better, but I present it to you this day, 12/23/23.

The most professional element of this production is the underlying music track, The Holly and the Ivy, which was recorded by John Wickham.

Hot Humid Night in St. Louis

With the exception of the drum track, this is all Chuck. This tiny audio project was created in 2021 and inspired by spending several summers in St. Louis. The humility there in July is incredible. The humidity is off the charts, too.
